Teasing what comes next
Added 2024-07-08 08:28:43 +0000 UTC
While we've released the 0.21.4.1 build two days ago, we wanted to share some visibility on two parallel workstreams we're working on.
Casper and Xirdneth have been working really hard in what might finally be our actual embedded software launcher. It's still fairly early in the development stage and we still need to manage most of the game launchers to simplify library migration.
In parallel, I (Benjamin) have been working on a total overhaul of our hotkeys manager to bring flexibility, robustness and long-term support. The new hotkey infrastructure will allow you to create as many hotkeys as you want, use either gamepad or keyboard inputs as triggers, execute functions, start applications or send virtual keyboard outputs. We're also finally allowing virtual keyboard inputs (from on-screen keyboards) to be used to setup input/output from said hotkeys.
Hopefully you're equally excited as we are as to what comes next. Please let us know your thoughts or remarks on the comments or reach out to us directly on Discord: https://discord.gg/G7WM42tbb6

Cutian, I have put a beta build of the library feature on Discord in the Early Access channel if you want to try?

2024-08-11 19:03:59 +0000 UTCI would love to have the cpu and gpu widget that is in the overlay tab on the first tab. I would have a hope that the "home" tab would be fully customizable for all options (drag n' drop system for choosing where stuff is in a grid system so it can be placed anywhere on the page). More options for the rivatuner overlay as font size for example and have options to import or create other overlays as I love the "extended" type but missing the temperature on the CPU and gpu. I would also love a more immersive mode for the quick menu like how Asus, Lenovo and others "pin" it to the side of the screen and does not have the space around the window. These are just my thoughts, but I don't mean you have to implement this. More of a QoL improvements.

2024-07-23 07:13:05 +0000 UTCYou cant compete with playnite. One app for everything in the end will not even be half as good as a dedicated one. Just download art under media tab.

2024-07-22 18:31:26 +0000 UTCThe launcher is a great idea. I use HC in place of Legion Space and like the idea of one app to do everything. My biggest complaint about Playnite is it doesn't always download game art and it especially struggles with Xbox Game Pass games.

2024-07-15 16:08:22 +0000 UTCThe first page of the quick tools is very empty. Only screen brightness, volume setting and some icons. Still space for some optional elements. I would put a profile switch setting there.

2024-07-14 11:25:05 +0000 UTCCan you elaborate on that first page request?

2024-07-13 14:44:48 +0000 UTCNo, I don’t think this is mandatory, but it would just be interesting, and as you said, even if it were, for example, I use different launchers anyway.

2024-07-12 09:50:04 +0000 UTCDo you think a library view is really necessary? I don't see any use case for that, there are already so many launcher out there.. A more flexible quick tools would be appreciated! The first page is all empty and to add favourites would be awesome. So you don't need do switch tabs for profile settings for example. But please don't misunderstand me, I am a happy user for my legion go since legion space is garbage...

2024-07-12 09:35:02 +0000 UTCBrenden, anything specific that you do or don't like about other launchers? Or is it the hassle of having multiple programs?
Casper H
2024-07-12 08:42:51 +0000 UTCIt's not implemented yet. They said it's a tease of what is coming. But I'm very excited as I have been struggling to find a launcher that I actually enjoy

2024-07-08 17:32:30 +0000 UTCPlease tell me how to make the game library display?

2024-07-08 11:07:00 +0000 UTCYou'd need the early access patreon level. Then a new set of posts would be visible, including access to latest build.

2024-07-08 09:06:22 +0000 UTCSorry, I'm new here, where can I download the Patreon version?
