So after sculpting the previous slime pieces, i realised that those are not very "flexible".
Yes i can rig those and animate them. But slimes have that shape changing vibe to them, so i thought that instead of making a "solid" that mooves a bit, it would make sense to make some modular pieces that could appear, disappear and even moove arround an overall goo shape when i want tifa to change positions. As one of my main goals is to slowly make the slime "grow" and start invading the sides of the tube and ceiling. What will start as a puddle, will eventually"crawl" on the walls, being able to hold tifa against them, to end up expanding to the ceiling holding Tifa in the air, allowing for all kinds of positions.
So i realised that since the shader blends independent meshes so well i can just make some modular pieces for tentacles to spawn from. which can also moove up the walls when the next positions require it. i think it's a more interesting concept than just changing the whole setup with a camera angle swap, which is what most of us do to avoid transitions.
I'm gonna "take the day off" to do some house chores and diconnect from the PC a bit, and then i'll reply to all pending DMs on patreon, Substar and discord :3 sorry for the delay guys, i'm really struggling to catch up with everyone lately. i think i'm gonna clear all Dms everywhere today and from now on, start and en my days replying Dms so they don't pile up and that way i can also reply to you all sooner :3
