Suspending the billing cycle

Home sweet home

I'm finally back home and have access to my computer again, and internet too (yup, got no internet for few days)

This is the motion capture for my animation reel which will also be an MCO moveset. It's very much inspired from my older White Fang moveset. Thinking this could be a moveset exclusive for a unique dagger, or a unique NPC

As I have access to my PC again, I can probably make a showcase for The Fool 2GS

Release outlook today : not so good

The power attack 1 is here. I severely overestimated how productive I would be you can see. Maybe next moveset will have a more realistic timeframe. Moving on to the second power attack !

I do not have a showcase yet due to my game updating and the downloads for the downgrade taking way too long. You can view all the animations pre-polish pass as individual posts or in the community chat

Power attack 2 is ready for polishing

The long range power attack

This is an alternate of the first attack for when the player is further away and cannot be reached with the regular attack/power attack

So you seemed to overwhelmingly like the Savage style for the attack 3. This is nice to know as I wasn't even sure about including it at all

I am considering keeping both by making the standard style (in a much better version hopefully) be the 3rd normal normal attack, and the savage style the 3rd power attack

Does this fit The Fool ?

These two animations are WIP and far from being finished

 

The animation was too fast overall but it somewhat works with the savage style (it's not as snappy)

Of course both versions are very far from being finished and will need a lot of work

In the meantime I will move on to the first power attack

Changing the release schedule ?

So it turns out, I was using an old version of the draugr behavior, which seems to be the cause of the incompatibilities with Precision creatures

I could probably redo everything today and upload a fix or, finish the moveset I am currently cleaning and upload the fix with it. But in that case there wouldn't be an ETA. Would you prefer in general to have less bigger releases or more frequent releases ?

Let's give the draugr an identity

So ! After discussing here, on the Discord and checking lore, it seems nobody knows the draugr

Their lore is extremely vague. We don't know how much the physical decay impacted them, if it even did. They retain their human fighting style and thus would fight like basic soldiers

I want more. Let's stray away from the lore.  Let's make the draugr unique. Here's the new plan :

I've been working on the draugr for a bit now.  They have a limping forward arm like the Dark Souls 2 Heide Knights

I hate what I came up with and it makes me work very slowly.
I don't know the Skyrim lore so I am once again asking for references
