Simple 3D Vaporwave Outro
Added 2017-12-24 09:54:33 +0000 UTCSo a friend and my cousin are both trying to get into video creation on Youtube and Twitch. On several occasions I've edited videos for both of them (they think I'm an editing god because of the detail and effort I'll pour into editing). On their videos I've edited, I remember spending about 2 days on each one just throwing ideas in and putting details and all to give the video life. When they edit, it's just simple cuts and such (hence why they like it when I edit LOL).
Just today they asked if I could create an outro. To them I'm an artist (they know I work in 3D, they DO NOT know that right now a majority of it is Furry smut) so they figured I could handle an ordeal as such. Seeing as how I love just making things for no reason whatsoever, I accepted! I was listening to this very song when they asked I thought "Imma do a quick, simple, and easy 3D vaporwave outro for them".
After about 3 hours of work (mainly rendering) this was the final result!
-The endless grid is a texture mapped to a slowly spinning cylinder
-The backdrop is a simple gradient
-The letters are extruded lines with glow materials
-The TV effect was done outside in Movie Studio Platinum
A little different than what you guys are used to seeing from me, of course. A 3D Artist has to spread his wings at times :D
