Rekindling
Added 2022-12-11 23:54:14 +0000 UTCHi guys! This is a bit of a sad post because I've not yet made this announcement outside private conversations.
I've got to think this one through really carefully because I'm not the only person affected but there's been an awful lot of bad things going on at SSE recently. It's looking very likely that I won't be doing any more comics for them, and it's not a decision I have any say in. :(
The situation is complicated but a lot of folk have been let go and my department has been dissolved completely. I'm incredibly depressed over the situation right now and it's affected my ability to work and function. So I don't have the right words to describe the situation at the moment, but I'm very angry and very disappointed.
On a more positive note, here's a fun post?
This is something FUN that has sprouted from this situation though. I've been having conversation with some friends and their acquintances. In the last month we've started making plans for rekindling an old game project and at the same time putting a completely new story and characters into it.
This is Jaro, who you will have seen posts about on my profile already. We've started working on concept art and models for the project already and we have a coder on board. This will not be a quick process, we're all doing this in our spare time.
I've learned a lot in this last month.
