Changing hands

Hi everyone!

As you might've already seen Miikka's previous post (if you haven't, please read it), our partner in crime is stepping down from running the Patreon with me.

He is not by any means gone, but the break is very much needed. I'm simply going to take over the running of things which will mean some small changes will need to be made.

Miikka will still be around, just not posting actively and I respect his decision to do so. It's really tough to run a Patreon page and try to come up with new and inventive ways to bring content to our subscribers and make it feel rewarding for everyone.

All the old content will stay on the page, including Year in Hereafter. Nothing is going to get deleted. However, it's likely you will not see any more YIH related updates from us, but we're going to keep the links to the comic on the revamped page. So please pop over to Miikka's website for any new pages of Year in Hereafter!

Miikka and I will still be doing Small Trolls together and you might see art made by Miikka from time to time as well as art from any new exciting projects he might want to share. The comic's website is still a big 'O' for me as the code needs rebuilding. For now you can download the first chapter from our Dropbox and any new stuff considering Small Trolls will continue to live on Patreon and our Twitter feeds.

Tistow will still be around like before. The tags badly need redoing and that's going to be my next task. There'll still be shortcuts to all old YIH, ST and Tistow content. I've disabled some of the older subscription fields in regards to physical rewards for now, until I can decide what to do with them. Physical rewards were always something Miikka arranged and I handled the finance side of things. I want to continue to offer them, but I'll keep you posted on what'll happen with them in the future. The Archive post is still something Miikka would like to keep updating himself.

We've decided to change the title of the page, but only to reflect the change of hands. 'There'll always be rats' is Tistow's slogan, used by our Etsy store and we feel it fits a lot of what we do. We'll continue doing stuff together, but to also make sure Miikka gets a well deserved break.

As Miikka stated in his post, any subscription funds that you put towards our page will be in my hands from now on. The funds will continue to go towards creating art, namely Small Trolls. However, if you feel like you wish to lower your pledge, please don't feel bad about doing so.

Thank you very much for your support so far everyone, it means an awful lot to both of us. I'm going to slowly start redoing some of the graphics on the page, but other than that not much will change for now.
