Tistow - World map - WIP

I promised a map and here it is. A work in progress map but these are the first 2 pages of the comic book (and PSD) just to give you an idea where everything is.

We didn't want to clutter the map for the first chapter too much, so we've only got few of the more important cities and countries listed.

Oakbottom Sea freezes over in the winter months, making it impossible to use it as a sea route. Lot's of shipwrecks there. To avoid the deathly sea, the Raestille Canal serves as a shortcut to Tael's capital, Lach Ih Abreah.

Tistow as a country shares its name with its capital. The city relies heavily on its sea port and river Effra for its trade. Further south of the country you'll find salt marshes where farmers herd their sheep over the unusual terrain.

Numuur is a overall a rich country, trading in exotic goods like tea, spices and fabrics. Like Fjoldi and Taelics, their people are divided into settlers and nomads, the most (in)famous ones being the so-called witches of Maskoon.

Kirkald you might recognise the name of, it's Jack and Veeti's home town. For those who fancy knowing where Morrie's originally from, you'll find Tirnain to the south. And anybody who remembers little Omar, he's lived all his life in Tistow but was born in Mahhra.
