Monthly News Letter #3 01/01/2017
Added 2017-01-01 07:00:00 +0000 UTCHello again!
Let's get the important thing out first: We broke our first goal.
Oh my goodness you dear, dear biscuits and cupcakes. In all honesty we did not expect the goal to break this quick. But it did. And we still have to consider our next goal. Oh my goodness.
So you should all read the next with deep consideration: You helped us, you're amazing. Thank you.
Oh and I guess it's 2017 now and another exciting year. Let's not forget that. x3
But now! Back to the stuff! Right off the bat we will be talking about the reward system and how we've aiming to make it work:
Patreon unfortunately does not support the option to make your donations to milestones, which means that you can give us little amount of money to gradually climb into that bigger reward. In other words, we follow your donation as a milestone donation.
To be honest we feel the current reward system a little bit harsh. We ourselves couldn't hand out multiple dozens of dollars out of our pockets for a small artist duo willynilly, so we're not demanding you to do that either.
We can manually follow and see how much money you've given us over time. Even if you give us 5$ monthly, we still want you to be able to aim to get that 30$ reward.
It's extrawork we're willing to do for you and it seems like the fair option. So don't worry if you're not giving us too much money, we literally take every penny into count.
For those who do give us quite a bit of money, for those we recycle their higher reward and for example, send out a multiple traditional art rewards every month.
Now, about the Christmas rewards. Some of you haven't seen them. Here's why:
Some of the rewards were supposed to be sent by Elli from the United Kingdom. However, all manifactured miniprints came to Karoliina first in Finland. and from there Karo was supposed to send half of them to Elli where from she would've sent a portion of the mini prints.
Those which Karoliina was supposed to send from Finland have been popping up around social media, so at least those arrived safely, in time. x3
But then Karoliina donked it. She sent the package, but there was one small line in the address that she apparently failed to write down on to the parcel. The given information put into the parcel was not enough to send it to Elli's doorstep or to her post office for that matter.
Now the parcel is stuck somewhere in limbo, with valuable contents and a box of coffee Elli was supposed to get as a Christmas present. Right now Karoliina is waiting for the parcel to return to Finland. On the contrary of forgetting to write a complete address, she at least wrote down a returning address, so the contents should be seen again soon enough.
And this is why some of you have not gotten our Christmas surprises in time. We'll rectify the error as soon as we can. x'3
We will send your missing surprise! Have faith!
Except for those who unfortunately have not given us their shipping information yet.
Comments
It's unacceptable though. They managed to deliver a letter that had been directed at "somewhere on the coast of Sussex. Good luck postie" but couldn't deliver my parcel which had my rather unusual name on it as well as the correct post code. - Elli
