Hexapod parade!

I painted a set of male and female "hexapod" creatures in different iterations, changing only subtle details each time.
The result was a neat spectrum of hexapod "species" - and an important lesson: painting or drawing the same thing over and over is a good method for deriving speculative critters.

These are so neat! Like their own miniproject. My favs are 2,3 and 7. Love the subtle sexual dimorphism and their faces.
