Snaiad - Brontophis - old and new
Added 2021-12-14 15:10:37 +0000 UTCHere are old and new renditions of Brontophis - a giant, herbivorous snake-like form, from the ongoing Snaiad project. The B&W renditions appeal to me so much that I may not colour them at all? What do you think? Which version is better?

B&W and tinted monochrome are cool. There's also monochrome with variable hues (like warm/cool), to set apart light from shadow, or foreground from background, or just to create more interest. H. R. Giger did that a lot. Even though his art is monochrome, almost all of his airbrush paintings have yellows and blues in them.
