James here, errata! I did not know about the experiment with giving acid (and handjobs) to a dolphin until after the episode’s recording. Sorry to have missed this piece of trivia!

People’s mouths moved and I heard them way later. Then I started falling down a tunnel with demons grabbing at me. At that point I was out of reality. It fucked me up and made my anxiety and depression worse for 2-3 years. For a while I thought I was dreaming and my life around me wasn’t real. I still get flashbacks from it. I’ve had lots of good trips since then because I knew it was going to happen.
