2023-03-21 02:38:16 +0000 UTCI wasn't familiar with Louis Sullivan in any way more than I recognize his name, but hearing the term "Jewelbox Banks" made me think of, years ago, on a road trip, I saw a beautifully ornamented bank, bedecked in all sorts of tiles, in Newark Ohio that, to my memory, strongly resembled a jewelbox. So, I do a bit of googling, and sure enough, it was a Sullivan! Just a really cool connection to make so many years later.
