Kingdom Hearts 1 released in 2002, so yeah, FFX was the new hotness at the time. BTW I like the detail that the FF characters you see are their child versions, meaning Jeff has his natural brown hair. I don't remember if you commented on that in your playthrough. Anyway, the remaster for PS4 looks awesome. KH games, at least 1 and 2, are pretty legendary at this point, I would say on par with Final Fantasy, Symphony of the Night, or Mario 64. And you've played or currently are playing all of those already. They're part of basic videogame education. And I mean, you obviously love the music, as do all of us, so why not? As for gameplay, that's the reason the series works. You've asked before how can this weird collab work. Answer: tight gameplay, awesome music, memorable boss fights, powerful story moments. Poof! Lightning in a bottle.

2026-01-13 20:08:03 +0000 UTCOh, the first song holds part of the once Final Fantasy Versus XIII soundtrack which was a Nomura project until it was given to another director, almost completely scrapped and renewed as Final Fantasy 15. Kingdom hearts 3 has some elements of Versus 13 in it which is pretty interesting if you are into that games history.
