Fallout 3 and 4 have endings that allow you to continue on after the credits while Fallout 1, 2 and New Vegas have conclusive endings but New Vegas is Special as different factions are available to align with. I won’t talk much about the story of new Vegas as it is the kind you need to play but I can give you the premise. You are a courier employed by the Mojave Express delivery service and you are tasked with a very important package, a guy in a checkered suit shoots you in the head for your package and you explore the Mojave wasteland (mostly Nevada but a little of surrounding states) in search of the man who tried to kill you. I would describe Fallout New Vegas as an action RPG with shooter elements forefront and a heavy emphasis on Role-Playing. Wanna be the hero? Go ahead. Wanna kill everyone you meet? All good there. Want to bumble around the wasteland as an unstoppable moron that has no idea what he’s doing but wins anyway? That’s Vegas Baby! I doubt you’ll get too many requests for music due to licensing but I can’t recommend the game enough!

2025-12-16 23:34:41 +0000 UTCYeah, Fallout music mostly comes from the radio. The OST is mostly ambient. You pretty much nailed it with your analysis. I moved it up front because it coincides with the release of season 2 of the Fallout TV show...which takes place in New Vegas.
