I'm so fascinated by this, because I played the game as a kid, and I never felt the story was hard to understand? Complicated sure, and with some wild twists throughout, but I never went away from it confused. I can't tell whether this means I completely missed something back then, or if people are over complicating it now.

2024-09-27 14:22:25 +0000 UTCSomewhere in my box of childhood things I have a PS1 memory card with my 99+ hour 100% completion of FF7. It was my third or fourth playthrough as a kid, I think I even had 2 full sets of Master Materia as well. It was my only game for years in the mid 90's
