I saw this in theaters on a date hahaha it might actually be the ideal viewing experience though, we both loved it, and I think it’s his best alongside the master. I tend to try and watch things ‘experientially’ the first time, and try to only go film analysis mode later if possible, so I can say it was really powerful for both of us without trying actively to engage with the symbols.

I really wanted to like this movie, but god did I not have it in me to care. It has a relationship dynamic that sounds like it could be interesting to explore, but absolutely nothing interesting to say about it. I love a good pretentious movie, but this one just feels so pointless.

Katie Gunn

I wish that at some point they cut to him playing Death Stranding.

John Mcclurg

I've been waiting for this one for a while. I came away from this one not enjoying the experience. The cinematography is great no doubt but I haaaated these characters by the end. Maybe that was the point? I dunno, I need the big beans here to shed some light on this one for my dumb dumb head.
