Dev Update about the Dev Update (if you're a paid member you already read this probably)

I'm re-posting this with an image that's SFW, so all members can read it and I won't have to re-write some of it to catch non-paid members up to speed in the actual dev update. So, for paid members you can just disregard, unless you didn't read the other one already. But, I took the text from that and put it in here for the most part.

Ok, so what I've done since I started is nothing but write. Which I felt I needed to do, because this update is going to be a little different.

The first part of the update will cover a weeks time and focus on the last line MC said to Lydia in the previous update (it was actually the last line of the update period). I have been focusing on writing the events that occur after that with great care. Because, this is where the relapse path would have been had I decided to keep it in the game. It's also where the current path shows MC navigating the results of that last line of dialogue as a sober man would. One who wants to stay that way at least.

This is mostly done with MC seeking answers and exploring why this happened, how this happened and working his way though it. The majority of it is with his closest support people. Tommy, Kayla, Lydia etc... The way I've decided to do it, you'll see how MC stays connected with everyone in his life, but the majority of it will be him focusing on finding answers from people about the events that took place. I can't really say much more than that without giving things away. But, I assure you again it's being done with the upmost care.

The culmination of this first part will be MC putting the man who passed to rest.

After that the first day of the update will start. As of right now I have nearly 1000 lines of code that is dialogue only. So that will probably be 1500-2000 by the time I finish writing the final two scenes of the week long "event" (let's call it) and render the scenes. After that, I'll be moving on to the first day of the update proper.

So, what does this all mean? It means you're gonna likely get another very large single update for Ch. 21 Pt. 1. Because, once the first part that covers the week event is over, there will still be a whole normal day of the update!

I'll check back with you guys on the 10th with some numbers and a further progress update. I just wanted you to know how this one was gonna go!
