If you forgot, this show takes a Futurama episode and thematically pairs it with an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, which works surprisingly well.
This episode covers Futurama episode “Crimes of the Hot.”

I don’t know if anyone has ever mentioned this, but in regards to the Futurama episode numbers; I had the dvds during their original release and there were only 4 season. Im not sure how they split them up to 5 later

That zombie thing is very close to what the original I Am Legend novel was about... but with zombish vampires...

They go to Kyoto to mirror the real life Kyoto protocols on climate change, so the anagram joke is likely something that came after the setting (sorry to do the thing where everyone on the internet is ‘um, actually’ but at least it does give more credit to the random clever joke)

Didn't Asimov also invent the term "robotics"?
I heard that's true, don't know if it's proven false, but i do remember hearing that a long time ago.
Nothing to do with him as a person, of course. Just thought it was an interesting point to add to the beginning.

Swaim, you say you "just can't get over" the fact that when they give up on the unnamed random comet, they don't try to get ice from a different comet, or any other source. Well good news, my friend: you missed an important bit of dialogue.
The Professor tells the crew that they need to go to Haley's comet because it's the "only source of ice that does not have bugs in it" in the universe. So, that's why it's just Haley's comet. When that comet is out of ice, we're doomed.
You can sleep easy now! Love you guys

So sad Swaim has so many prejudgements about BG3. Game of the year, so much better than Zelda.

In the TNG era red is for the command/pilot division, gold is for operations which encompasses engineering and security and blue is for sciences/medicine
