Dev Update #64 (Progress)

Ok, I know I said I wasn't gonna do a dev update until Wednesday. But, I'm doing it now because there are a few circumstances I want to discuss, and let you guys know when I anticipate the release date.

I'm making excellent progress on day two of the update, not gonna quote all the numbers or whatever, but they are good. However, and I don't know how to say this without it being embarrassing for both myself and the readers of this post, but... 

Umm... you know those things that can make it hard to sit upright on an office chair for a long period of time? Well, I'm having a flare up of them right now. I even bought a special seat cushion, which is helping some, but my doc is recommending I stay out of my office chair for about a week to let them calm down (along with creams and soaking and other things you don't wanna know of about, oh wait I just told you, but if I can't make fun of myself...)

So yea, I got COVID then a few weeks after that hemorrhoids (for the first time in my life, could it have been from coughing so much, that's my theory but I can't be sure). You guys know me, full disclose on everything! 

Anyway, if you're still reading this post, the update WILL be out in April as promised. If this had not happened and I wanted to kill myself I could have probably gotten it done by the middle, but it's likely gonna be around the last day of the month.

My plan over the next week, is to sit in my nice soft recliner, write a scene when I wake up on my laptop, then play some FFVII Rebirth for the rest of the day. It was killing me making myself not do that anyway. So, I figured I'd just get it out of the way while this is going on (I've said in the past what a FF nut I am, so that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone). 

This way once I can sit comfortable and work at my PC again, I'll mostly just have to set up scenes and render them, then animate the one sex scene that happens on day two of the update. I may have to do a few rewrites because I'll be so far ahead with writing, but that shouldn't be a big deal, just something new for me. I mean, the whole thing is already outlined anyway and I don't anticipate adding more scenes than I already have planned (you never know though Lydia might get some crazy idea or whatever, but as I said, I don't anticipate it). 

What can I say, life hasn't been a lot of fun lately, but ODAAT has taken my mind off of it a lot! TBH I don't know what I'd do without it. I'll check back in with you guys on March 27th. That's three weeks from when I was gonna write this update.

At that point I'll give you a firm release date. But, as stated, it's probably gonna be the end of April. Because, I'm going to wanna do as much polishing as I possibly can (ya'll know that's important to me) and then Shaddy and I will need to take time to test it, proof it, and all that stuff.

Anyway, that's where things stand. Unless something unforeseen happens Ch. 17 will be out in April. Even if I have to sit on razor blades to make it happen (Please God just let these things go away!).

P.S. - By the way, I know shit could be a lot worse and I'm grateful I have food and a roof over my head, but the last month has been really annoying and has sucked!
