New tier has been added with 1-on-1 support reward
Added 2019-11-23 01:36:09 +0000 UTCI want to let all of you know that I have added a new Patreon tier with a reward of 1 hour of 1-on-1 call with me. Some of you might be a little surprised to see the price is $200. Here's the description of this tier for more info.

I have always helped almost everybody I can without asking for payment. But the one place I usually draw the line is doing one-on-one calls. I like helping people one-on-one, but I think the way I can help the most people is to put my energy into making videos or by troubleshooting over chat where I can (and do!) have five or fifteen conversations all at once. But lots of people still ask: what does it take to get on a Skype call with you! So here's the answer.
Don't think of this as me asking for $200 for an hour of my time. Think of it as me saying, "This is how much it will take to pull me away from all the other people I'm helping to focus only on you."
During your call, we can talk about anything you want. Troubleshoot a quad. Ask questions about YouTube. You name it.

For now, I am limiting this tier to 5 people. I think people probably will drop back down to their previous patron reward level after a month or two, so most likely slots will open up. If there is enough demand, and if it doesn't take too much time away from my other duties, I will consider opening up additional slots.

It fine if you want to go up for one month then back down. I kind of expect people wouldn't need it every month.
