My new parallel charge board just released

Me and ReadyMadeRC have released a new and improved parallel charge board, and I want YOU to be the first to know about it. Frankly, it's going to sell out immediately and go into back-order, and I figure getting first-shot at it is a privilege of being one of my Patrons.

What's new about the board? The main thing is that we have added polyfuses in between all of the balance ports. This means no more burned up boards and damaged batteries if you plug the balance lead in wrong, or if the batteries are too far apart in voltage. Basically, this board is almost 100% idiot-proof--but you should still make sure to educate yourself about safe parallel charging before you use it!

The other improvement is that the balance connectors have more spacing between them, and they are set towards the edge of the board. This makes it easier to plug in the batteries and lets the batteries lay neatly to the side instead of piling up on top of each other.

When people originally asked about polyfuses, the response was that it would increase the price of the board. And it has. But not as much as I thought it would. In fact, this board is only $26. So... yeah. 10 batteries. Fuses. Polyfuses. Built in cell checker. Somebody tell me a single other parallel charge board that beats this, at any price. (Assuming you do 4S, that is LOL.)

This product listing is public and anyone can buy it, but I will be holding off on making a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT for just a few hours, to give my Patrons the chance to get in line first.

just got mine, had to pay a further £12, bloody boarder force!! nice bit of kit though, very well made, solder work looks good, simple but well thought out constuction, yeah rubber feet? ...Na! they'd only come off, and lets face it, you should be charging on an old desk or stone really. over all a great board. think it will last a good long time, worth every penny.

Just received mine, really nice, the one thing i could add up is some rubber stands on the bottom so the thing will not slip all over my desk when i am connecting the first battery.

I have a love hate relationship with your first board. Love the voltage checker, fuses, and 10 lipo capacity, but I hate how cramped everything was to connect. V2.0 ordered!

If I didn't already buy a new parallel board like 2 weeks ago. Oh wells.

Thanks, Joshua. I needed a parallel board really bad & you posted exactly when I was thinking about it & had the time. Now I have one on the way. YOU = Awesome.

The whole point of the board is that it's single-voltage. That lets us get way more plugs on a single board.

Gotta make one that does 2S-6S (maybe 3S-5S), not just 4S! I had picked up your other board, so getting another 4S-only board doesn't really get me excited...

Thanks Joshua! Just ordered mine. Only $3.75 shipping to Thailand which is reasonable.

Thanks Joshua for working in the changes on this board for V2 and also thanks for the heads-up to us. Just placed my order. Looking forward to whatever announcement/reveal video you put up.

RMRC has an international distribution program. All it takes is some distributor to order some boards for import. Several people expressed an interest when the first board came out but nobody actually came through with an order. If you know a retailer, ask them to order some!

Maybe the T8 might solve this problem? hope JB might shed some light as to a good charger for you.

No Worries JB, got it on snailmail only cost a few bucks and with the exchange rate bagged it for 22 uk quid! top work... just have to wait 10 days for it to arrive! hope my old board doesn't crap out in the mean time!

Always feel I'm missing something. Most chargers don't have more than 100W per channel. Most 4s batteries out there are no less 1300mAh. So at 16.8V you have 6A per channel so 10 batteries would charge at .45C? What am I missing? If its an option for a future product would be a smaller and cheaper board with 4 or 5 ports.

nice work JB. any chance of getting it over in the uk?

Capacities can be mixed. Voltage needs to be the same.

Great stuff

Joshua. Do you only use this for matching batteries? Or would you use it with a 1300 and 1500 at the same time?

Pity I'm just starting and on 3s

As I am still a beginner, the ISDT parallel charging board is enough for me. But it looks cool!
