2024-12-10 08:12:17 +0000 UTC"Pokemon Mystery Dungeon" is sort of like "Pokemon Monopoly": there's a Mystery Dungeon series that usually isn't about Pokemon, and that series has a Pokemon spinoff. It also has a Final Fantasy one, "Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon". The closest thing to a "main-line" Mystery Dungeon series is "Shiren the Wanderer" but Mystery Dungeon is mostly best known for the tie-in spinoffs. Mystery Dungeon gameplay is turn-based RPG gameplay, but totally different from Pokemon or Final Fantasy in a way that's hard to explain without pictures.
