Abominable product of the WOLF/WITCH wars that spawned malignants like Theiss. Within the demonic principalities inner gang warfare is constant and all kinds of beings can descend to near demonhood. When a CANIS devours prey it can take some of their essence; and if one eats too many powerful witches that magic can seep into the beast's soul.

As ive fleshed out the whole setting the distinctions between the wolf breeds needed to be more apparent. Topside; the Aesir programs keep the GARM in semi-streamlined pedigrees and close to classic werewolf phenotypes. In the deep down below the Hessian bunkers the deformities start. Multi-eyes are the first sign of deviancy from the original programming and the blue becomes orange/red. LYCAON is responsible for much of this and the Kuu-Shee is helping him.
