The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Song of Storms / Temple of Time

This is a strange video.

Ayy, finally got one of my requests! You said that the Temple of Time sounds kinda like voices and you'd be right thinking that as that was the intention! I think the OG Bloody Tears was on NES, but I haven't played through the first 3 yet.

I think both themes were also part of the remixes from Theophany You once made a live reaction for. But since the videos don't exist anymore I am not sure anymore which ones they were.

I think the best way to describe the Temple of Time is "reverend". It sounds empty because it's supposed to not disturb the peace of the scene. There are no other sounds, just the choir. There is something sacred about the place, and to fill it with music would disturb that essence.

The game implements its music so well. The temple of time and Song of Time are really meant to be experienced back-to-back and the first time you play the latter in game is story reasons that I won't spoil, just in case you do play the game someday. I can't gush enough about the music for OOT it adds so much to the experience. Sales of Ocarina's blew up after it came out and that shows how memorable the songs you play in the game actually are, even more impressive given the technical limitations of the N64 compared to the PS1. Koji did an amazing job. Yes both the Song of Time and Storms return in the direct sequel Majora's Mask, some of the music for that you have already heard. There is a healthy debate among fans about which game is better
