The MOMENT I saw how much you Enjoyed Crypt of the Necrodancer and old "Blast-processed" Genesis Music, I knew you would love this OST! I actually looked for someone who may have uploaded at least double loop versions of the songs on Youtube, but it was either this one, or... the 30 min version, which... well you might have enjoyed anyways! π The game itself is heavily inspired by the old 2D "Ninja Gaiden" on the NES, and the core concept of the game is switching between the past and the future by passing through little time fields, which causes the entire screen to transform to whichever era you are switching to, and the music live switches as well between each version of the song, so the past has the older style 8-bit music, while the future has the 16-bit version. It's a wicked cool concept! "The Storm Calls for You!" that you reacted to already a few months ago from "Sea of Stars," is MOSTLY done by the same composer, Eric W. Brown, who goes by Rainbowdragoneyes and is an incredible chiptune artist! There are a few other composers in Sea of Stars as well, including a few tracks by our favorite boy Yasunori Mitsuda of Chrono Trigger fame. -- Thanks for the kind words at the end, really made my day honestly. I don't mind waiting to hear my requests, I view them more as a perk to supporting you rather than like... a service I am paying for. It has actually been a lot of fun sussing out songs I think you will enjoy when I request stuff, and it's so rewarding to find one that you really liked. Keep up the awesome work! π
