Final Fantasy V / FFXIV - The Final Battle / Neo ExDeath

"Debut of Final Fantasy V." Me and Gilgamesh huffing in the corner. "We'll let that slide."

FFV was a great game, I think it's highly underrated within the franchise in general. It has the best job system out of any single player FF game FF12 coming in close second and man I it brutally hard. It's also the most goofy FF game with Exdeah literally being an evil tree 🌳 🙃 😂

FFV is still seen as one of the most funniest gameplay of the series. Besides, it's the game where our bro gilgamesh makes his debut! Fun fact about him : his character was written and planned by some devs, but Sakaguchi (creator of ff) was not aware of his presence. So when he finally read the game all over, he noticed him and asked who is he? The devs simply answered, it's a surprise lol. After reading his story and cutscenes, sakaguchi was convinced and decided to left him in the game. As far as the story is concerned, FFV is the first FF introducing a concept we're gonna see from time to time : the Rift. It's like a dimension where evry FF worlds are connected. And Gilgamesh traveled in FF world through the rift. Warning spoiler : the gilgamesh you see in rebirth might come right after FFV in the gilgamesh time line.

I can imagine Gilgamesh going, "You knave!" out through a dimensional portal. :P Clash on the Big Bridge and/or Battle on the Big Bridge was actually the first Final Fantasy V track you reacted to. (It's also one of the most popular track in the FF series, let alone FFV.) Looking at the date you posted it, it's close to being 2 years old... With so many reactions under you belt, it's understandable to not remember. Listening to this again, I realize how similar of a vibe the earlier FF titles have with their Final Battle themes, namely 1-5. After a quick refresher they all start out a bit different but converge on this frantic motif like, "This is it guys! It's now or never!". Hearing Uematsu break away from that with FF6 is quite interesting as it's clear he wanted to change it up after FF5.
