I agree that he should watch the movie version, I had mentioned it in an earlier video but it was an edited comment after he initially responded to me so I guess he must've missed it.

I believe this has already been mentioned by people, but a lot of people often recommend watching the Movie version of Episode 58-61 instead of the episodes themselves. The content is the same, but it's redone with higher quality animation/visuals. It came out around 3 years after those episodes aired. Many prefer this over the actual episodes. It's around 90 minutes long. I don't have any major preference myself. I just thought I'd let you know in case you were unaware, and if you're a few episodes ahead. People are probably going to start bringing it up soon if they haven't already. So having some time to consider the option is probably better. You could ask around in your community about what they recommend you to do.

What a sad episode the umibozu arc is definitely a very underrated arc and I appreciate even more now on a rewatch.

Episode 42 is my favorite episode in the first 50 and second favorite in the first 100. The climax of this arc hits really hard especially on a rewatch.

The bit about gin always wanting a family really hits hard once you know his whole backstory lol. I like how they just give little hints slowly throughout the show

Later on the arcs get longer like around 5-8+ episodes. The longest arc which is the last one in the anime is 26 episodes
