For some context: the Civilization games are part of what is known as the Grand Strategy genre of games, more specifically a "4X" game (standing for Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate). You play as a real world civilization, taking it from the early Stone Age all the way to the modern era. As part of that process, you colonize new lands, obtain new resources, research new technologies, engage in military conquest, negotiate diplomatic treaties, and ultimately try to obtain victory through one of several win conditions. If it sounds complicated... well, that's because it is, but some people adore it.

2023-07-28 05:03:55 +0000 UTCThe soundtrack of Civilization VI is absolutely fantastic, with each civilizations having their own distinct theme evolving as you progress through the game from the stone to atomic age. Definitely recommend taking a look at the OST!
