On one hand, I'm not surprised you haven't gotten any other requests for Night in the Woods. It's a bit of a niche game from a few years ago, and while it has some good music, a lot of it is very ambient, good for setting the mood but not for listening. On the other hand, I expect some of the other songs to make their way into your request list soon enough, knowing how dedicated some of its fans can be.

Funny you brought it up but one of the reasons I requested this song is because I noticed your request list didn’t have anything from NitW and I just had to change that, cuz this soundtrack is pretty great, with this song being my favorite! In this game, you play as a girl cat (the one on the cover) who returns home after dropping out of college to be with her friends and bandmates again. At certain points, you play a rhythm game with your band, with this song being the first one in the game. You actually pointed out how the drums sounded synthetic, which was actually a great observation, because the drummer in that game actually uses a computer instead, so you were spot on there. As for the theme of the song, I believe it’s about not letting your life remain stagnant, and embracing change. As much as we want to stay at home forever, we need to explore the world to truly live our lives. We all die, but we should Die Anywhere Else but where it all started. Hope this helps!
