This was NES, and NES and Gameboy did have the same general kind of sound hardware. The Gameboy's had some more advanced features than the NES, like stereo output and a wavetable, but when songs aren't using the advanced features the chips are hard to tell apart casually.

2023-06-30 12:31:36 +0000 UTCThe ff2 is the first FF with a consistent story and characters (the first and previous one did not have characters with specific names). The gameplay is controversial : some love, some hate = your stats level up according to the actions/power you used in the fight. The character you see here is Firion, the main protagonist, you Will see him in dissidia. Funny enough, the psp remaster (which has also remastered ost, and rebel army here is really good) has the logo of the main antagonist : the emperor (the purple one with the horns).
