2023-06-30 06:15:32 +0000 UTCFF6 stream when? Hey it was worth a shot. This and Chrono Trigger are some of the best you can get from the SNES era. Or all of gaming history depending who you ask. I haven't played all of 9 (yes I know, shame on me) but I definitely can see the connection between the song titles you mentioned. This track plays as an overworld theme during a part of the game where things have kind of hit bottom and all you can do is, well, "search for your friends". I am absolutely not surprised to find out there's an oblique callback to it in the nostalgia train that is FF9.
