This song was actually in mono, the stereo edit is a fan thing. In this case, the song wasn't ruined, but the stereo did a distraction that wasn't present in the original. In some other cases, the stereo remixes Youtube brings up for NES songs completely butcher the original musical intent. I would advise steering clear of WiiGuy's "8BitStereo" mixes entirely.

The story is about a guy named Dave and his friends who join together to rescue his girlfriend from a mad scientist.
