2024-03-22 02:11:42 +0000 UTCThey posted 3 days ago that the reason the cakes aren't appearing for some simmers could possibly be from that they have the orig deluxe edition base game, they might just need to adjust some code for those who have reg base game etc. Not appearing for me either fyi, so you're not alone. They'll fix it soon I'm sure :)

2024-03-18 23:48:54 +0000 UTCI'm having the same issue. There are no duplicates because it's my first time downloading. I also deleted the older versions of custom food/drink interactions and downloaded the newest versions and none of the cakes show up but everything else does.

2024-03-18 23:22:30 +0000 UTCThank you for the quick response. This was my first download, so I didn't have any duplicates (I even deleted and re-downloaded the cakes). My adult sims all have level 10 cooking, gourmet cooking and baking. I used the custom food > bake custom on the fridge, stove and custom food objects and still no luck - I only see the older cake downloads like the night moon cake and gingerbread house, none of the new cakes.

2024-03-17 22:46:47 +0000 UTCI have done of all of the above and am still having the same problem! no duplicates, all the others. No cakes. I click cook custom food -> bake custom and there are no cakes. I will try one more time, i appreciate any help possible!

2024-03-17 21:05:10 +0000 UTCHello make sure you dont have any previous versions hiding somewhere in your folders. Make sure your sim has enough skills and also look under the custom bake interaction ( not the custom cook one)

2024-03-17 05:53:17 +0000 UTCHopefully someone can help me with this :-) I downloaded these items and all the recent functional object updates but the 5 cakes don't show up as an option for my sims to cook/bake-I know they're in my game because I see them available as slices on the restaurant dessert menus. I also updated custom food/drink interactions and custom food objects. When I select "bake custom foods" or any custom food cooking option really, on the fridge, oven/stove and using custom food objects, I don't see any of the cakes show up. Does anyone know what I'm missing/doing wrong or need to do to see them as an option to bake/cook/make? My sims can make mini mac, tomato samwich, funfetti rolled ice cream, dino nuggets, cotton candy eggs and the birthday shakes, but no cakes :-( Please help, they're too cute and it's my sims toddlers birthday, lol!

2024-03-17 04:22:52 +0000 UTCOh and the obvious RIP OFF EA did releasing that Kettle appliance in the EP. Which actually boils water. When Ice's floral teapot was rocking Earl Grey and other caffinated java mixes before country was cool. Oh and fact the teapot actually uses a variety of floral tea bags and coffee beans from the Mill. I don't want the new EP to break all these custom kitchen appliances :(

Can someone confirm/or deny whether the FR EP patch affected any of Ice's custom foods that could be made with the new EP kitchen appliances? Like the pressure cooker (which is similar in functionality to Ice's superior One Pot appliance). I want to buy the FR EP which is currently on sale. But terrified it's going to break all my custom food mods (not just Ice but other modders like LBB as well)
