How about 3 different trays - food, drink, gift bag ?
A) You will be able to grab 2-3 different variations of snacks, drinks and gift hampers containing candy skewers ( similar to the sugar cookie stand).
Or I can just keep it simple and let the sims grab the stuff without need of restocking. The trays will be placeable on any surface ( not bound to counters)
B) Alternately I can make Multi servings via stove/fridge and from which you can grab single plates/cups of food/drink like regular food
What do you prefer ?
Any other ideas ?

I love the tray that can be used on any surface.
