Toying With This Week (Oct 24 - Oct 30)

Cam Site Functionality Removal

The biggest thing from this past week is a negative unfortunately. Lovense forced me to remove the Cam Site functionality. I attempted to implement and go the geo-blocking route for just countries where Lovense has a patent for toy control via cam sites. But unfortunately they claim the patent covers all of Chaturbate because Chaturbate itself is USA based.

Script Embedding Improvements

I'm adding support for some toys that don't do anything on their own to be able to embed a script just like how tools work. This is mostly to get the site in a better position to support various pressure and depth sensing toys in the future.

I'm also working on making it so that you can change the embedded script for an already existing block. I also might make it so that if you go to add a script that already has an appropriate block that it asks if you want to switch scripts. The intent is to eliminate some of the confusion people run in to when they've for example adding 3 copies of the Discord bot with different scripts and don't know what to click.

Audio Frequency

I've started on the work to support toys (ie. basically just the DG-Lab Coyote) having their frequency match the frequency of an audio pattern. The System Audio Windows code is updated now and getting pulled in to XToys. I'm just not positive yet how I'm going to store and actually use that data. It's also not helping that it's still very unclear what specific frequencies the Coyote uses and what commands set those frequencies.

Bluetooth Custom Toys

I haven't had much progress on this but I'd still like to finish it soon. It's mostly just a lot of tedious work to get all the code samples in and tested.

WearOS App

I've got communication between XToys and a basic WearOS app working. Now I just need to figure out what layout the app should have and get it implemented. This is still probably months and months away from being finished.

Lots of Bug Fixes and Little Changes
