Of course! I totally understand :) Firstly you should download the GPU add-on support program, it enables the game to recognize newer powerful GPUs. https://www.nexusmods.com/thesims3/mods/106 Next, if you have both a dedicated and integrated graphics card, Sims 3 uses the integrated one by default. Go to Windows Settings > Display > Graphics > Browse for TS3 under desktop apps, select TS3W.exe from the game bin, and then choose the high performance card. I got a big performance boost from that! In LazyDuchess's Smooth Patch mod there is a built in FPS limiter, set it to 60 using the text file :) Choose any lighting mod by brntwaffle's to use :D Use this guide to disable that weird bloom effect. https://simsfaq.tumblr.com/post/143159021784/the-sims-3-removing-bloom-effect. When in game, open TS3 Options: Set reflections quality, texture detail, sim detail, lighting shadows on highest level with High Detail Lots set to 2. (The higher the number of high detail lots shown, the laggier the game.) Download Buhudain's "You Are Real" Specular Map revisions. Other than that, I highly suggest using a Sims 3 Mod Merger/Organizer like CCMagic or this program. Totally fair to feel this way, I appreciate your response. I’ve found it really aggravating, personally, after building my PC specifically so I’d be able to run it better and using a slew of suggestions to improve performance over the years. I’ve mainly used Lazy Duchess and NRaas in-game and I actually vastly prefer playing 3 to 4; would you be open to sharing some of your suggestions and what’s helped you? Very very sincerely would love advice on this as I prefer 3 in terms of gameplay.

I highly disagree with this respectfully. TS3 may be laggy and unoptimized in general by default but there are several ways to rectify this with tutorials and programs online to the point where you can have a smooth game running like butter with amazing graphics. The amount of effort would definitely be worth it in TS3! :)

Yes please make recipes for TS3! TS3 players are still around and we'd love some new content, we still use your old TS3 cc from back in the day <3

As much as I love TS3 and I adore your food mods, I feel like the TS3 system is so laggy and graphics are such a low priority that it wouldn’t be worth the amount of effort that goes into it. Half the reason I love your content so much is how beautiful and interesting it makes cooking in TS4, and I think that would be lost on TS3.

I LOVE the Sims 4 stuff that you make, but I absolutely ADORE the Sims 3 in fact it's the first Sims game I Ever played and it's still my FAV one so Yes I would LOVE it if you could ever possibly do it for the Sims 3 Please!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
