Added 2022-04-18 20:22:40 +0000 UTCI cant believe some (permawalled) creators would edit files individually & intentionally track their patrons,then make a spreadsheet with their info & attempt to dox them. This is a massive breach of trust 😕
Let me say that I would never track anyone.
Keep yourselves safe and dont support such creators😔
Beware of creators who make you message them for individual links instead of posting them on patreon. That is basically the way they can track cc.

2022-04-29 17:57:43 +0000 UTCFor a creator to track you, they'd have to send you a direct link to their CC in which they've enabled tracking. It's a pretty specific group of creators and it raises questions about those who keep their content behind a permanent paywall. If you've downloaded directly from a post, you should be okay.

I only have a few random ones Ive gotten off of MTS. Sorry if this is supposed to be obvious or something. Ive been on a break for a bit and only started playing Sims again after a few months. It took a couple days to get my mods sorted and updated and it seems to work fine now. But now I’m just wondering. Has this been going on for a while and its only been recent it came to light? I’m thinking of removing some of my misc creator mods. Not sure if MTS has been victim to this kind of stuff as well. I wish you the best. You're absolutely one of the best modders and Inappreciate your work. Top three for sure. Pretty much all tied with the top spot in my book. Can't choose the best because you each have your own specialities. Take care.

What is of concern is creators who send individualized/personalized/different links for patrons instead of posting the links in a patron post or attaching the files to patreon post itself. And not everybody who sends personalized email does this....I feel like most dont. its only a select few

2022-04-19 18:27:14 +0000 UTCTSR used to permawall certain CC. You had to be a subscriber to receive access to Featured Artist and Select Artist content. FA content was never released publicly, and it the creator had no say over what content was permawalled or made public. Everything is free on TSR now, but thats only because they had so many ads on the page while you cc shop.
