Added 2020-06-07 09:49:48 +0000 UTCSo my foods and custom food interaction mod currently work with off the grid trait. They can me made even when there is no electricity. I kind of like it...so for the time being i am keeping them this way. In future I am going to make a version which does not work if there is no electricity.

Good news - I have found out how to make my custom harvestables growable on the vertical planters
Bad news - I will have to remake them 😭
(They work okay without this, just no vertical planting)
Bonus good news - I have made custom fizzy ( more on that later)
I wont make all the plants growable on the vertical planter. I will be doing just the ones which i feel will be appropriate. Mainly herbs, some flowers and some non root veggies.
But I will UPDATE all my harvestables ( once i get the different fizzy juices made) as i want to make custom fizzy juices for all of them.

2020-06-08 16:02:44 +0000 UTCMaking a plant compatible with the vertical planter is proving to be extremely challenging..half of the time stuff doesnt work. This is true for the EA plants too..a lot of the plants which ideally should go onto the vertical planters are not plantable

Which save space, yes, and are aesthetically pleasing but planting in them is just awkward, and planting in them doesn't fit the whole Green Gardening Initiative thing, for some reason (not related to you, just an EA disappointment).

The recipes dont really require an update to work properly so for tge recipes i am just going to zip up my own food mods folder. The harvestables dont require update to work as before. But i will update some of them for fizzy juice and vertical planting. That will take time. I am hoping the other mods dont require much extensive updates since they all work properly...just bits and pieces of some extra code

And I LOVE the idea that @charleighcooper re:"limited time group download". Although I don't know if that's hard work, but Midnitetech & LittleMsSam do it and it's soooo easy for us lazy simmers. Hey, but I'll work hard for you, Mun😛

Any chance, you can make rasberry, blueberry and cucumber plus your herbs first ? :) I always need them for the canning station and they are looking so good anyway :) Thanks for your work :)

2020-06-07 11:04:33 +0000 UTCYeah i have seen lots of reports about how people are having difficulty with vertical garden planting 😕 Even if i remake everything and add the proper codes, some of my harvestables refuse to work on the planter. Something is definitely glitchy about the planter.

2020-06-07 10:41:41 +0000 UTCNo..its seems that it is designed that way..only a few harvestables are compatible with the vertical planter. You can plant basil, sage, parsley and a couple of flowers. I thinkbyou can plant peas and bell pepper too. I will post a list
