I’m pretty sure they made a Christmas album and made this episode to promote the album back when you could actually make money selling CDs.

2025-12-22 20:24:51 +0000 UTCYeah this episode paid tribute to Mary Kay Bergman who as you mentioned took her own life sadly, in the final song they bring in all the female characters she voiced it was really sweet. Fighting the frizzies is a reference to an ad that played inbetween the commercials of the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special which only aired once it was that bad.
