Regarding virgin status: For some characters, it actually qualifies as plot vault- not that the story hinges on it or anything, but some info tidbits are in the future. Except Mace is obviously a virgin. I mean, I don't think that comes as a shock to anyone.

If I'm silent, it usually means I'm drawing, or thinking. (Or sleeping.) If you guys have a topic you're curious about, doesn't hurt to ask! I like to give people as much latitude as possible- if it's okay with the mods, and the TOS of the platform, then I view it as none of my business to dictate what others can draw and share. What to expect: No hardcore porn of our characters. But we may post suggestive pinup drawings of them, similar to the Vi illustration with bombshells from last year. It's possible that some commissions (of other people's characters or whatnot) will be NSFW- but if that happens, I'll share the commission art in the attachment of a post that is clearly labeled NSFW, so the image won't pop up on anyone's screen unless they choose to click on and download the attachment. Let me know if this sounds like a good approach to you, or we could potentially make the NSFW art available via offsite links, in age-restricted mode on art accounts.

Not in the least! People like porn, good porn is challenging to draw well, kudos to anyone that can pull it off. (har har) There's a lot of things I don't want to necessarily do- draw porn of our cast, be a plumber, farm grain- but I can still respect those who do good work in those fields.

"No explicit sex acts, and no full frontal nudity" of our cast is the detailed limitation linked to above. Exceptions might crop up- one person asked if I'd depict Indi & Digo stripping, and since that's a thing they do in the story, I'd make an exception for nudity with those characters for that reason. But some folks need a hardcore answer for a hardcore question, so to keep it simple: No DK porn comin' from us. The Harem commission was fun! At the time I knew I didn't want to do a *lot* of DK porn, but thought I'd feel out my boundaries by saying yes to that particular commission idea. It was fun to make, I like how it came out, but it also served as sort of a marker stone for me: Been there, did that, but I don't want to build the future of my series on that ground. Honolulu was fun to visit, but I guess I'm not going to live there. E )

He’s going to mostly play it safe with his own characters and not put out a ton,but he might do the occasional treat with the Indigoes. He’s just stating that he doesn’t want that to dominate the main story on his end and keep people from starting to read.

Well, for a while there was a fairly active NSFW community on the dreamkeepers forums....they suddenly disappeared last year in the summer. Some of us artists and writers are still lurking around, so if people are wanting to see things beyond what the authors are comfortable doing their own, that would be the place to ask. And to the creators/authors of DK; Please do keep us deviants in the NSFW forum thread appraised of any rule changes. We like our misbehavings, but we absolutely want to respect your content.

Can't help but wonder if I'm one of the askers that led to this, I was honestly worried I might have upset y'all after asking, but also only 2 days had passed so I told myself to keep waiting. Glad to have a little more light on the situation and an answer we can actually hand out for when people ask and you aren't around. But I think I understand part of this, cause I like drawing my sona in energetic or somewhat sensual drawings but come anything too violent or sexual and I dip out cause it is, in a sense, my brand and baby on the line. Just like how making hard stuff might hurt DK. Also Zeph (ZephyrLyall) on Discord is truly evil so I thought I'd share their idea (with credit). Cause of your response to Volpe, they came up with the idea of you drawing the indigos naked but from an angle/with props in the way where you can't see anything and you laughing maniacally as you cockblock everyone xD
