It's called barmbrack, often shortened to brack. Tbh, a ring seems like a better thing to find inside the cake instead of a tiny plastic baby. π

Here, it's a tiny plastic baby that's baked into the cake, and whoever gets it is supposed to have luck and prosperity. I guess surviving a potential choking death on a small plastic item would be termed lucky....
