A few thoughts: I am really glad we got payoff on Boimler's duplicate joining Section 31 before the series came to an end. The Julian Bashir Medical Hologram makes a lot of sense because in DS9 there was an episode where Bashir was being considered as a template for the newest version of the Emergency Medical Hologram because the original (aka the Voyager version) lacked "a good bedside manner". While I know who T'Pol is, Star Trek:ENT is a gap in my Star Trek knowledge. Prior to NuTrek I watched all of the ST:TOS, ST:TNG and ST:DS9. I watched about half of ST:VOY. ST:ENT was a lot more spotty for me. So almost the opposite of your viewing experience. I really liked both Boimler's dismissal of the multiverse and Lily Sloane's defense of it. There is a lot of hate on multiverse stories nowadays because all to often they are just used for "lazy remixes". But occasionally multiverse stories are used for character exploration in a way that wouldn't be possible otherwise. A recent example of a multiverse story used for this kind of deep character exploration is "Pretend Like It's The First Time" in Arcane. And finally, damn this was a hell of an episode. Really looking forward to the finale.

When Garek first appeared, he was joining Bashir for breakfast to introduce himself to him. The actor said he approached it as if he was trying to get with Bashir. Now, they couldn't actually make him gay due to the times and how uncertain DS9 was for a while (and cause Rick Berman was running things initially and he's an awful person who deserves a Moopsie under his blankets) but that is a classic shipper pairing. And he's the 2nd best indicator that an episode was gonna be a good one if you saw him guest appearing. (#1 being Jeffery Combs) As for Kurzon, he's basically a Trill weeb but for Klingons. He was the Federation ambassador to the Kingon Empire and was a "Live life to the fullest" kinda guy (Which, no spoilers, wasn't always such a good thing) but befriended Sisko and thus friendship. Also, broken wheel, but I cannot recommend the Lower Decks comics more. Drawn in the same art style as the show and some good writing. "All Orion stories start with a heist." "Even the fairy tales?" "ESPECIALLY the fairy tales!"
