I'm very interested to see if and/or how Motendo fits into the season!

Yes, this is exactly what the comics did: two shorter stories in one issue. The early Genosha stuff (with forced labor from various mutants) is from both the comics and the first animated series. This for me is one of the weaker episodes of the season, but it does put a few things in place for later. I, like you, enjoyed the depowered Storm arc and this story gives a taste of it, but just the smallest of tastes. If you want a full meal you'll have to return to the comics - definitely not a hardship.

Awesome stuff, my friend! Thank you for all the fantastic information. I starting to think I need to re-up my subs and start reading again :)

Fury Roll

Warlock's dad was called Magus. And Mojo and Spiral Rock. Kinda steal the show in the Longshot mini. And also kind of take the wind out of Arcade's sails a bit. Mojo does his stuff but on an interdimensional scale. (And given that it's established that this show is a universe in the Marvel Multiverse, and it's said BY MOJO that there's only one Mojoverse, we're dealing with comics Mojo here) If you wanna get a taste Spiral's later comics stuff, that Cerebro podcast I recommended has short snippits on youtube with animation, it's batcrap insane but a fun time. And Jubilee isn't exactly weak. There was a limited series recently X-Terminators (They wanted to call it Grindhouse of X but weren't allowed to) where they kinda go over how she and Boom-Boom are walking, talking violations of the Law of Thermodynamics saying that you can't create or destroy energy cause they do it all the time. And she creates plasma and then splits atoms in it, so she's a walking Nuke and can explode things all around her (which the Collector found out the hard way). Now, it took freaking FOREVER for her to get to that since she was depowered in M-Day and was a vampire for a long time, but the Krakoa age was good for her. And it was good to Forge as well. That whole recipe thing being an invention kinda came from the recent comics which he had a HUGE role in. So they focused on his powers a bit and fleshed them out and got some good stuff out of him. And THE ADVASARY! Yeah, toned down a LOT from the comics (since he was a bit appropriative of some indigenous imagery despite being totally made up because Chris couldn't use Jim jaspers since Alan Moore created him and he was suing Marvel at the time) cause he's a fundamental being of Chaos and Change but "Creepy Owl Demon" works better in animation
