Star Trek: Lower Decks S4E7 FULL LENGTH Reaction & Review

Comments

I am both excited for and dreading the 'last' three episodes before Season 5 :( I can't wait to watch but in so doing, I will reach a pause in my Lower Decks journey. Don't know what I'm going to do without that little ship in my weekly rotation, but that is something everyone else has been dealing with at the end of each season. Time to put on my big person pants I guess :)

I think it is pretty likely that this episode is just tying up the loose ends of the three AIs and that we won't be seeing them in any major way again (could be wrong but that's my vibe with the episode). I'm one of those who enjoyed A Mathematically Perfect Redemption and actually don't mind Peanut Hamper as a character (in a love to hate kind of way), but I'd definitely be happy to end her story here, and actually like the idea of the redemption sticking this time. This episode was the one that really threw everyone's theories on the mystery ship out the window lol, but even though I couldn't have guessed what the final answer was I love it. I absolutely cannot wait for your reactions to these final three episodes of the season - just SUCH a strong run of episodes and part of why this is my favourite season (so far).

Lord TyranoKillucuss :D Arguably the greatest name in the universe! I felt bad bashing Peanut Hamper after I saw a few heartfelt comments of people saying they liked PH. My motivations are always selfish. My main reason for not liking Peanut Hamper is that her episode 'stole' air time from our Lower Deckers :)

Fury Roll

If you don't have a reform evil overlord running a bed and breakfast who likes baking muffins named Lord TyranoKillucuss in your next campaign, just don't bother. (In the 3.5 Book of Exalted Deeds, when they describe the 1st layer of the Celestial heavens, they have a dude doing that) "A lot of people like Peanut Hamper"? Is the sky a pretty color in whatever world that's true? In all seriousness, I don't have as much hate for the "Perfect Redemption" as most folks out there, but I don't think many people cheers when she shows up. As for the mystery ship, everyone was thinking it was Badgey/ Peanut Hamper/ Agimus teaming up prior to this episode. My theory involved the folks/ species that sent the Whale probe from "Voyage Home" esp since they popped up in the credits battle this season and all the systems got drained. That kinda went down the drain with the abductions since that doesn't square with the probe's actions in the movie.
