Fringe and Stargate SG-1 even more so are looong running series that unless limited to a single season will take forever to finish. For variety's sake doing shorter shows like Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Man in the High Castle, and Under the Dome would probably be a better choice.

2024-04-07 17:40:05 +0000 UTCNoooo. Fringe is so much better produced when starting the journey. hope he does not cringe out of SG1, which is of course great in total. :D

2024-04-03 11:38:13 +0000 UTCNot to be a Debbie Downer, but I don't think Foundation is good at all (except for Cleon/Empire)

2024-04-01 22:55:54 +0000 UTCTerminator was a great show, ended too early, typical FOX BS

2024-04-01 22:54:17 +0000 UTCI did watch Galactica and I enjoyed it quite a bit! Full disclosure, I still can't even *think* about the last episode (mainly Adama) and NOT get choked up.

2024-03-29 01:52:13 +0000 UTCI was torn between Man in the High Castle and Fringe... looks like I'll lose out either way, but staying hopeful!

2024-03-28 21:12:27 +0000 UTCNot as smart as the books were, but not bad adaptation either. At first I thought I am gonna hate it, screwing one of my favorite science fiction epic of today, but at the end it was watchable and enjoyable too.

2024-03-28 18:15:02 +0000 UTCI have. Decision I will forever regret. Better read the books. Although anybody who never read mr. Asimov may actually enjoy the show.

2024-03-28 18:10:36 +0000 UTCGood list. There is one special show I am missing there. It may be you have seen it but in case you did not, check Battlestar Galactica (2003 miniseries, 2004-2008 season 1-4). Seeing you enjoy the Expanse in such lenght it may be the right thing for you to watch. There are many features both series share, like trying to be realistic, with shade of grey characters and more. Not everybody loves Galactica, it may be you won't like it, but I bet you will.

2024-03-28 18:07:35 +0000 UTCAppreciate the suggestion, my friend. I saw LightingInvoker posted something similar. Will take all the advice into consideration!

2024-03-27 20:39:53 +0000 UTCAs someone who wants to see this channel grow, I have to say it might be the right next corporate move :D (This and trying to advertise even more you're doing The Expanse lol)

2024-03-27 20:24:08 +0000 UTCI really hesitated to vote for Stargate. It's an amazing tv show, I have so many fond memories of watching it as a teenager. Now, as other have said, it has A LOT of episodes. So I don't know if it'd be sustainable to react to it on the long run. You could maybe try to find a list of the best episodes or rather the ones that actually advance the main plot. Otherwise, as much as I love SG, it'd probably be best to start with Fringe imo.

2024-03-27 20:18:58 +0000 UTCI don't know if you've watched Star Trek, Strange new worlds but it has a tie in episode with Lower decks in it's second season.

2024-03-27 17:30:37 +0000 UTCWill definitely give it a look! Thank you for the suggestion, my friend!

2024-03-27 17:12:23 +0000 UTCI *really* enjoyed Man in the High Castle, but it's definitely a slow burn. I just love alternate-history stuff in general. Unrelated, but have you considered watching Three Body Problem on the main YouTube channel? I went into it blind, and was completely blown away... I couldn't get enough, so now I'm already reading the books. It's sci-fi, and it just released so the reactions could pull some nice view counts!

2024-03-27 16:04:26 +0000 UTCIf you want something more akin to Star Trek the OG series, then I'd lean more to SG1. Action, comedy, suspense, omg moments, etc. It's a slog though, being 24 eps a season, so you'll have dud episodes, and you *should* watch the original movie first.

2024-03-27 14:30:02 +0000 UTCI will say about Fringe, it *will* hit you in the feels. A huge theme behind the sci-fi plot is the effects of mental illness on family. The acting is absolutely top tier, imo. After watching your reaction to Planet of The Apes I really want to give you that disclaimer.

2024-03-27 14:26:02 +0000 UTCYeah Fringe definitely hits different than SG1, absolutely (I voted for both, lol). I love both shows and for totally different reasons.

2024-03-27 14:22:01 +0000 UTCI have not! Been wanting to hit that one and Altered Carbon

2024-03-27 13:57:35 +0000 UTCLightingInvoker has been trying to get me to watch Fringe for years! Really looking forward to it.

2024-03-27 13:56:19 +0000 UTCHave you watched Foundation yet?

2024-03-27 13:46:30 +0000 UTCI voted for Fringe, It's a series that really dove into its characters depths and had some outstanding episodes as a result. John Noble in particular shines throughout the series. I've seen the others and was a particular fan of SG1 as it aired, and while each has some notable highs they don't have Fringe's consistency IMO.

2024-03-27 13:44:18 +0000 UTCI wonder if The Stand is still being streamed?? That'd be a good one, even if you've seen it xD
