"Not chess, Mr Spock - Poker!" This is the moment I fell in love with Star Trek. I started watching it to make fun of Shatner coz I heard the acting was bad. I enjoyed it for nine episodes. Then it got to this, and that line, the simple twist, the creative "actually, fucko, behold another option!" blew my mind, and I fell hard. That must be around 2015, maybe. I love Trek so much, and it can be traced back to that single line that elevated it from just another enjoyable show to something really special to me :)
