Inks!

Like I mentioned during the pencil section, I purposely try not to pencil -everything- because I like to leave something for me to do at this stage.

If you were doing comics professionally or had someone else inking your work, obviously you couldn't do that because they're not mind readers and don't know what you're trying to achieve.

When doing inks, it's important to pay attention to the effect that line width can have. Thick, bold lines tend to mean 'close', when thin lines mean 'far'. Notice in the backgrounds I tend to favor lines that are thinner than my focus character.  It makes it more visually interesting and helps communicate the idea of space.

The exception is in the fourth panel, where a group of rocks use thicker lines than Tails does. This is because they're closer to the 'camera' of the viewer, so the lines are thicker.
