Announcement: Patreon Payments Paused

…There is not actually a longer version of this announcement. I’m just at the stage of pregnancy where napping for hours is a far more enjoyable activity than anything else, and if this is like my last pregnancy I’ll soon be reaching the “and also my finger joints are swollen and it hurts to type” stage. So. I’m going to keep updating as fast as I can, but that’s going to be slow, and therefore it is not fair to be charging money for it. Please enjoy a few months of free-but-slow chapters. I’ll make sure to post another announcement before payments resume.
Specifics:
- Payments will be officially paused at the end of October, as I’ll be giving Royal Road readers a last chance to sign up over here (new sign ups get locked when payments are paused).
- $10+ tiers: You get updates as soon as I create them, as per usual. Hoping this will be roughly every-other-week.
- $5 tier: You'll get roughly one update per every two on the higher tiers. Royal Road won't be updating, so the "you get one more chapter than Royal Road" thing no longer works. This is my compromise to give you guys something without borking my buffer on the higher tiers.
