Dream Dust
Added 2024-10-11 09:38:06 +0000 UTCHello! Hope you all are having a nice week. My brain was a little fried when I recorded the intro, but work has been going quite well.
This time I am working on a new item called Dream Dust. It is a reward for beating the Dream Eater and will allow you to make monsters/npcs fall asleep, possibly so that you can enter their dreams. I also created a thought bubble effect representing a dream that can be entered.
This will probably only work on Mr. Fox for the time being, but in the long run I think it could be cool to make a bunch of different dreams that can be entered, sort of like dungeons. That is quite an ambitious idea with a lot of work entailed, so don't get too excited yet ^^ but I am interested in exploring some ideas with procedural generation or small handmade levels.
Next time I'll probably add a snore, work on the Dream Dust graphics and model, and soon we'll be working on improvements to the Dream Eater encounter!

I like to think the Dragin is dreaming about flying and shooting fire at a castle, since well, as his name implies, he's a dragon. Not fully sure though lol.
