Trust Broken
Added 2023-07-03 14:47:16 +0000 UTCIt's a bit sad if the trust between the creator and the client cannot be maintained properly.
I found some of my files uploaded to a website which I can't mention even though the files are just old files that I haven't remastered like nouse shard, or old gierach.
But I wonder why you do that to yourself. You work, earn money by sweating yourself, then support creators and share files for strangers. Even though they don't know you either, they won't even thank you and they won't even care if you live or die. To them, you are just pawn like "Just wait for someone to throw away money for us who sit like the boss without any effort. Let them do the work". You degrading yourself including your integrity into pawn and then you are ignored like the wind.
Many creators stop working because of things like this. In the end everything will return to zero if all creators feel disappointed and stop. You have to teach yourself to mod to a very good level. Which requires years of time and adequate equipment.
As for creators, they will continue to show their much greater works and make you dream of them without being able to own them. Believe me I have ever wanted something when I have not been able to make it and the feeling is not good.
I hope we can maintain the trust between creators and clients (whoever the creators are) so that we can continue to be passionate about creating something new and fun. Money can be obtained anywhere, but if trust is broken, money cannot restore it.
For now I will label the old file that has been leaked as public and I will update it for another tier.

FML, this makes me sooo mad! I wish it could be traced back to who did this! I'm so sorry your work is being treated this way! If you need anything, or find some way to make this trackable, like a unique signature for each download - as annoying as that may be - I will gladly go through any security you might decide to enact for future downloads.

I can't speak for everyone, of course, but for myself I've always appreciated the creativity and hard work you pour inro your creations. You are truly an artist, not just a mod creator. 2023-07-03 15:35:53 +0000 UTCIt sucks that this has happened especially when everything on here is supposed to be exclusive to patrons only. You can start to encrypt your files (zzips) with a password (I see a lot of creators use a secret blocked channel in discord for those with a linked patreon) and upload a password to make that process harder to happen. That way everyone would have to input the password everytime they access the file. It just sucks that someone did this and had to leak content that was exclusive for us.
